However you are invited to place an application on our wait list.

Our units are mostly located in North End Halifax with a few in Bedford and Fairview.

Our Membership Process

Needham Housing Co-operative is a 22 unit Housing Co-operative located mostly in North End Halifax with units in Bedford and Fairview.

Once an application is received, it is placed on our waitlist based on required bedrooms.
We keep applications on file for the current (calendar) year only, so if you wish to stay on our waitlist, please follow up with an email prior to the end of the year.
When we have an opening, we review applications starting with the oldest application.
We then contact those applicants to confirm that they are still interested, and then we arrange for a viewing of the available unit.
Once interest is confirmed, we will start processing the application by calling landlord and personal references, and processing credit checks.
Application process takes approximately 1 week to complete.
